So am I correct to say that when working in Wires X, the node radio is doing all the hard work with the sending and receiving of signals over the internet and that the 991 (My base radio) just needs a antenna strong enough to reach the node.
Im thinking a little cheap window antenna for the 991 and my main vertical antenna for the node. Would that be sufficient to get things going in wires x? Until I get time to set up another big antenna project.
A dummy load would work for this.
